The Country Around Steamboat

Our western heritage runs deep in the community of Steamboat Springs and nothing is more apparent when you leave the city limits. Ranches and wide-open skies dominate the surrounding area.  Room to roam, many homes feature 35-acre lots with expansive views of the Flat Tops, Zirkel and Sarvis Creek wilderness areas. Looking back towards town, the skyline is dominated by Mt. Werner and the world class skiing at the Steamboat Ski Area.

Enjoy the serenity and the beauty of Steamboat Lake, to the north, Stagecoach Reservoir, to the south or the private community of Lake Catamount. Each lake offers ample opportunities to recreate with fishing, boating or water skiing right out your front door. Or simply relax and enjoy country living at it’s finest, all just minutes from town.  If you are looking to escape the crowed city life and enjoy watching the early morning sunrise over the mountains, take a drive beyond the boundaries of Steamboat and discover your own taste of heaven.
