Dry Creek Park is one of the best parks in the area, featuring a fishing pond, disc golf, a cross country ski trail, a playground, and rentable picnic shelters. On top of that, it's also dog-friendly! Sage Creek Trail is another local favorite place to connect with the outdoors. This four-mile trail is used in the winter for cross country skiing, but it's open year-round for hikers. Finally, within the Lake View neighborhood is Deep Ranch, which features 10 miles of dog-friendly Nordic trails, but they are only open in the winter, so plan accordingly.
