Winter in Steamboat Springs - Do you have a Powder Clause?
One of the biggest questions on everyone's mind every fall is what will winter be like. To that end the Farmer's Almanac Winter Forecast is out and I like it the best of any I have seen so far because it shows more snow for Steamboat. "According to the Farmers’, three-quarters of the United States will see below-average temperatures this winter. In the west, states like Colorado, Wyoming and Montana will see well below normal temperatures and above average snowfall. The eastern portion of the country can expect an active storm track, which could mean a large amount of precipitation. The Upper Midwest should expect bitter cold and around average snowfall amounts.
