Steamboat's Ride 4 Yellow
Just two more days before 200 cyclists hit 26 miles of Steamboat singletrack to raise funds and fight cancer. This epic event, now in its 3rd year, has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Ride 4 Yellow and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In its inaugural year, Lance actually rode with the participants leading them across the continental divide down into the cheering (completely ecstatic) Yampa Valley.
The Steamboat Group's own, Jon Wade, will be on his set of wheels this weekend - riding 4 yellow. If you want to donate to Jon's ride, click on over here to his Ride 4 Yellow, Team Slopeside, donation page. You can also support this awesome cause by supporting any of the Ride 4 Yellow sponsors. A few of our favorites .... Steamboat Ski & Bike Kare (just across the street from The Steamboat Group's office on the corner of 5th & Lincoln), Honey Stinger (fueling riders with their energy chews and power bars) and Slopeside Grill (where the post biking bash & benefit will be held on Saturday night).
Supporting these Ride 4 Yellow sponsors is just one more way to join in the cause for a cure. So whether you're in the market for a new Trek, a shiny Giant or you're perusing your next downtown cruiser, Steamboat Ski & Bike Kare will take fantastic care of you. And even if you aren't looking for a new ride, they've got plenty of accessories to keep you in top form. Grab a Go Pro and film your own biking adventures (or your Ride 4 Yellow memory) or spruce up your exterior with a bottle of Bike Lust protective agent. And don't forget to grab a few packs of the previously mentioned (and really tasty) Honey Stinger chews and power bars. And After you're done with your own pedaling fun, top your ride off with a pint and a pizza at everybody's favorite apres hangout, Slopeside Grill, you earned it!
Here are a few links to help you get involved with Steamboat's Ride 4 Yellow. We thank you for supporting the sponsors, donating to the cause, joining us at the Slopeside after party, cheering us on or just spreading the word.
We'll see you at the finish line ...
