Steamboat Ski Area Beats the 200 Inch Mark Sunday


 Steamboat Springs beat the 200-inch mark for the season yesterday, Sunday January 9th, 2011. Steamboat's Champagne Powder made for great skiing and was absolutely gorgeous! This storm that dropped over 17 inches in 24 hours and still more in the forecast to come.  The National Weather Service mentions that we are in the forecast to receive about 3 - 5 inches or more on Mt. Werner and surrounding mountains in Steamboat Springs in the next couple of days. Steamboat has such a variety of areas to ski with up to 2,965 acres of permitted terrain and a diversity of trails for all levels of ability. Steamboat's skiing is best known for tre skiing and Champagne Powder.
