Steamboat summers are always filled with fun events that everyone can enjoy. Once May ends, the town launches full force into fun event mode, with great Happy Hours and great things to do outside of the normal hiking, biking, and fishing that you do in Steamboat in June. Here’s a compiled list of some of these events that you can go out to enjoy!

June 1: Yampa Valley River Festival

The Yampa Valley River Festival is a Kayak and Rafting competition held at the Bud Werner Memorial Library to commemorate the wildness of the Yampa River.

June 2: Steamboat Marathon

June 4: Token Tuesdays at Mountain Tap start for June!

Mountain Tap is a Steamboat Group favorite as it is right below our office. Token Tuesday somehow manage to make it even better!

June 13: Mustang Roundup

450 members of Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup come to Steamboat to show off their cars on Lincoln Avenue.

June 15: Farmer’s Markets begin

Farmers and artisans sell their wares along the Yampa River in downtown Steamboat. My personal favorite thing to do in the summertime!

June 21: Steamboat Pro Rodeo

A Steamboat tradition! To read more on the Pro Rodeo, click here.

June 29: Coca Cola Movies on the Mountain

Free movies to watch right at the base of Mt. Werner! Click here for a list of the movies.
