Did someone say skijoring on Lincoln, ski jumping through fiery hoops, and fireworks!? This could only mean one thing...it's almost time for Steamboat's infamous Winter Carnival!

This year, Steamboat will celebrate the 106th year of the longest running Winter Carnival west of the Mississippi.

Opening ceremonies will begin on the evening of Wednesday, February 6th at 5:30pm on Howelsen Hill. Street events on Lincoln Ave. will take place on Saturday and Sunday. (See Street Event Schedule HERE.) Winter Carnival will conclude with the Diamond Hitch Parade on Sunday followed by the Pro Alpine Ski Jumping Finals at 1pm.

Winter Carnival is a great opportunity to embrace the Western Heritage that Steamboat was founded upon and enjoy a variety of Winter events performed by Steamboat Olympians, athletes and locals.
