Wanting to eat a healthy veggie diet but don't know where to start with Steamboat's restaurants? We've got you covered!

Seedz is a quaint cafe located on Mainstreet where in the summertime you can sit outside in the sunshine.

Recommendations: Spring Noodle Bowl, Golden Curry Tofu Wrap, and if you’re brave (and have a cold) try their Hot Shot (honey, lemon, ginger, cayenne, and tumeric)

Joose is dedicated to healthy, tasty foods that will make you feel fantastic about snacking. They also have an infrared sauna, which if you are unfamiliar with, is pretty cool.

Recommendations: Tomato Basil Soup and Tabouli, for dessert try their Power Brownies.

Fantastic brunch, lunch, and breakfast place located next to a creek just off of Mainstreet. Not vegan but good vegetarian options.

Recommendations: Chile Relleno, Californian Eggs Benedict

Salt & Lime

Food so good it was on fire! (Once, but that was resolved and now the restaurant is back in order). Enjoy their tapas and great tacos!

Recommendations: Vegetales Taco and Chile Relleno

A local-family favorite, Freshies offers great vegetarian options.

Recommendations: The Freshies Salad, The Grateful Veg Burger, and the Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Cafe Diva

Dress fancy and head to Cafe Diva for some fine dining and great service right off the base of the mountain.

Recommendations: Sweet Potatoes Brussel Sprouts Hash and the Asian Pear and the Hazelnut Butterleaf Wedge Salad

A local downtown restaurant that caters to any dietary need, especially vegans.

Recommendations: The Buddha Belly Bowl and their Mother of Dragons smoothie

Fantastic food that never fails to impress. Has great vegetarian options.

Recommendations: Eggplant Parmigiano, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and the Ceci Fritti, which is a chickpea dish that inspired me to included chickpeas in 70% of my recipes. Mamma mia!

We hope you enjoy eating vegetarian in Steamboat just as much as we have. But seriously, go to Mambo and try their Ceci Fritti, it will change your life!
