Catamount Lake and Ranch

  I just wanted to let you know the Catamount membership offers for 2014. As you may know Catamount is a private club that has both a first class golf course / clubhouse and an amazing Private Lake facility with a clubhouse and lake that is amazingly calm. The lake also has amazing fishing above and below it in the private tailwaters. Many people join the lake just because it is some of the best Fly Fishing in Colorado.

   Now that Ski Season has gone out with a Bang (and a powdery bang it was), it's time to start thinking about summer.  In addition to all of the great sports we get to do here in the summer there are a great variety of fun events.  I have attempted to list the key ones below. My favorites are anything bike related, the Rodeo, Farmer's Market, and anything with good food.  What are yours? 

   If you haven't checked out Steamboat in the summer yet you are missing the better half of the year. Have a great and then summer everyone!  Until then I'll be on my bike getting in shape.

  It has been an interesting few years in Steamboat.  Now that markets across the country have strengthened the Steamboat Real Estate market is recovering too.  It is refreshing to see the change in people's mindset for both locals and second home owners alike.  Short sales and foreclosures are no longer driving the market. Supply is coming more into balance in more areas and is even short in several parts of the market.  Values are down after the recession but prices are increasing in more parts of the market, interest rates are low, and the outlook is better than we have seen in years.
