North Routt

Steamboat Lake, a 1053 acre State Park in North Routt, offers breathtaking scenery. Fishing, camping and boating are available along with full‐service marina and swimming beach. Winter offers ice fishing, cross country skiing and access to 60 miles of snowmobiling trails. Snowmobiling trails in the National Forest are extensive with endless groomed trails, open meadows, forests, mountains, incredible views, and powder-filled runs.
In addition to easy access to the national forest, The Mount Zirkel Wilderness lies within the Routt National Forest. With 160,648 acres, over 70 lakes, and 15 peaks over 12,000 feet it is an area that is always open for your exploration.
