Steamboat Springs Running Series - With races varying from 400 meters to 50 miles there is sure to be an event for everyone. Occurring almost every other weekend over the summer and on trails all over town, it is a great way to see another side of Steamboat. With ability ranging from competitive racers to casual joggers everyone interested in running is encouraged to stop by. Races begin on May 15th and last through September 18th.
Steamboat Town Challenge Races - Biweekly mountain bike races over the summer, much of the town comes out to watch or ride in the different racing categories. Bikers of all abilities come to the races, don’t feel shy, there is sure to be someone to ride with! Another great way to meet people from around town.

Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup - June 17th-20th, more than 450 Mustang owners will meet in Steamboat Springs for a scenic mountain tour, races and a car show. Displayed down Lincoln Ave. downtown, this is a great Fathers day weekend activity in Steamboat.
Pro Rodeo Series - Every Friday and Saturday night throughout the summer, the Rodeo is a fun way to start your weekend in Steamboat. Beginning the weekend of June 18th and lasting through August 21st if you are in Steamboat this summer, the rodeo is definitely a must see.
Hot Air Balloon Rodeo - Occurring alongside Art in the Park, the Hot Air Balloon Rodeo is a cool event with 50+ hot air balloons taking off at once. A fun weekend to be in town, this year occurring on July 10th-11th,
Strings Music Festival - In their 23rd season, the Strings Music Festival is set to run from June 26th through August 21st this summer. Featuring acts such as Sarah Chang and Chris Botti this summer, it is sure to be a fantastic series this year.
