2010 Ski Season Comes to a Close
Posted by The Steamboat Group on Friday, April 16th, 2010 at 11:55am.The 2009-10 ski seaosn cam to a close this past weekend ending another fun and snow-filled year in the Yampa Valley. And while the snow falls are probably not over yet, the close of the mountain coincided perfectly with the weather this year. Giving us one last day of fresh powder we were hit hard by 20+ inches 4 days before closing this year. But on Sunday you would have never guessed, with temps in the 60s, Apres Ski was filled with people enjoying the last day in shorts and t-shirts. Another great season and with the weather warming up so early in the year everyone i shoping for the trails to open up soon.
